The output stage of this CD player
employs two glimmering valves to make the Compact
Disc sound more smooth and colourful. The two 6922
valves are the core of the twin pole balanced analogue
filter and make the best out of the musical information,
which is processed by the upsampling circuit that
is integrated in an SRC4192 Chip. The upsampling
process can be activated via remote control and
provides a high resolution 24-bit/192kHz signal
that feeds the two Burr Brown PCM 1792 DACs. The
sonic precision is further improved by refining
each player with selected valves and capacitors
in house and adjusting the analogue circuit to lowest
possible tolerances. The result of all efforts is
clearly audible via RCA or balanced XLR terminals.
